The Tale Of A Primary Assignment ( Open Letter To Uniosun Ladies)
There is always another life out of the present, so why living like there is nothing good ahead of you. RIP to those who died but are not well accomplished because they are not celebrities. It is with heavy heart I am writing this.
After few days of the demise of a brilliant lady who happens to be a student of my school. I do not want to lay emphasis about her death or whatever caused it, The simple fact is SHE'S DEAD!!!
This piece is just a tale i.e a speech, discourse about our primary assignment in Bola Ige University or whatever the dramatic governor changed it to. We are all guilty of same thing, be it serious or not serious in school, we are fond of being influenced by peers whether in positive way or otherwise.
As a lady, how do you see yourself? That is a question many ladies will fail, Well, I've got a little answer to that, as a lady, you are not as you see yourself, you need not to feel inferior in front of opposite gender, no matter how cool and great a man is, there is a woman in action, so you should always be proud to call yourself the active creature, someone no man can intimidate or exploit. A legend in making that is going to be a compulsory factor for a man's success someday, a creature a man would not live without in future.
Okay, I was talking about peer influence, many ladies of this same institution falls in this shameful situation, a lady of known dignity, exemplary background and modelling attitude changes way so swiftly like a litmus paper hit by a drop of acid. This is traceable to the set of peers they wine and dine with. They are easily penetrated by bad acts and goes hard in immoralities. It' is so unfortunate that the parents are so proud of these ladies that they are sure of the good ways their daughter and cohorts are living in the campus. They are ignorant that the so called daughters are the next big thing after Maheeda and Afrocandy.
Dear beautiful ladies of my school, do you know what, the good attitude of yours you brought from home is what people see in you before they point the finger to you and say 'I am proud of that lady'. You are the ones that should influence your bad-mannered friends with your own admirable ways. And if they concur not, leave thrash for OYES as its already known and proven that bad company corrupts good manner. God did not tie your destiny together. Find mates of uniform ways and your life will be cool always.
A death of a fellow student is not something to write home about. Our ladies should be matured enough to know exactly what primary assignment is. To be focused in our educational pursuits is the real deal. Parents will never get sad of a happy result, you will be so proud of yourself thinking aloud that you should have joined the illicit gang but you scaled through the temptation and you made it courtesy of your seriousness.
Let no man forsake you, you are a creature of same creator, you are not compulsorily destined to be inferior/under a man. God bless the effort of our trying ladies. What is worth doing is worth doing well. Our ladies are our pride and we are proud of you. Lets embrace seriousness and face the primary assignment, and peace and success shall follow us all the days of our lives. Amen
