Osun state university, a school with multi-talented acts in various form of world of explorations.

It’s probably because of the availability of more than 5 campuses distributed throughout the 6 geographical phase of the state where the institution is located which allows regular students from different tribes, cultures, and beliefs, to settle with broad range of expertise enormously in a single school.

My 4-year tenure of studentship broadened my eyes, and allowed me to experience the melodious voice of so many singers in the school. The competitive professionalism of these artistes made it known to me that it would be quite impossible to list out the top 5 in the history of the school, but alas, my duration of 4 years in the school ranging from 2011-2015 is enough to point out those that I feel they wowed so much audience while performing in their various performing locations, and how students of their campuses talk about them that earns them wider recognition and the list goes thus in no particular order:

_1.Sisdab:

A graduate of English and International studies from Ikire campus, SIsdab, during his schooling years caught attention of so many students on and off his campus, he finds interest in solemnly mixing his easy flowing indigenous language with any form of beat that comes his way.

The ‘Talemi’ crooner has since been performing in shows right from time, having interviews in daily publications which show he is one of the best gifts Osun state university have ever bred. The indigenous rapper’s recent ‘Who You Epp’ refix with Olamide YBNL is second to none. The track sure made positive comments on the web even more than the already known artistes in the country who did same refix. The best way to showcase talents is not by making noise, Baba Decker is a gentle soul who is good at what he does. He graduated from Physics department in 2015, He sings fluently in using any form of language he wishes to use. The ‘Mi o Ko Won Je’ singer has never set aside in performing at any of events that comes up in the circle of Osogbo campus, And any event without him is sure a dull moment for the audience as their eyes will keep itching for the sight of this young talented man. One of his best projects remains MI O Ko Won Je and which turned to the anthem in the campus where he studied from then till date. His next song titled ‘Answer Oh God’ (AOG) got his fans losing patience already as they await the release of the long anticipated track. _3.Medulla:

Also known as Somandla is one of the rare assets the students of the school would go many more years to find his kind. He is a very talented singer with the best use of vocal balance. The melody of his voice is second to none. He sings with the best of mind where listeners get carried away while listening. A vocalist per excellence, The Ori Mi crooner is a sure threat to the music industry in coming years as he’s holding in his hands all what itt takes to wear the crown. He graduated from the college of Humanities, Ikire college of Uniosun. You can only prove me wrong after checking out some of this talented man’s songs HERE and HERE.




_{4.Mo’Tunes:}
What a man can do, a woman can do better, this is a story of a young, talented girl who beats many males to stupor in using audio and vocal weapon when it comes to music battle. She reigned in the campus of Management and social sciences, Okuku where she maintained her leadership in music till her final days in the college. The beautiful lady sings new songs like her first which make fans believes she is a beast in what she knows best. There would never be an entertainment story of Uniosun, Okuku campus and the name ‘Motunes’ would got skipped. She sure made enough waves which got new students having a bad feeling of not getting the chance meeting someone whose names have turned into a family name in the school circle. _5.Pappintin:

But why the hell does this man stand at the very last line? Oh yeah, It’s clearly because the list is in no particular order. Pappintin re-defined entertainment and music in Osun state university 4 or 5 years ago and his legacy still stand fit in the school till tomorrow. He’s one of this few artistes that find glory in promoting songs to any length unlike many, who gives link to their site in free or un-promoted sites thereby having limited recognition. No wonder Pappintin is known not just in Uniosun, but in Osun state generally and many other parts of the country. His glorious evergreen tracks: Ankara and Kanyinsola gives him wider recognition till date. While talking about listening to songs by Uniosun students been aired and played on various radio stations, Pappintin’s songs comes first to the mind of many. A track from him to any worrying soul without soliciting a positive change of status in the mind needs deliverance as the guy’s voice is already mixed with divine gospel blessings that heal any unhappy souls.
